    Permanent Magnets

    The TYP Magnet utilises powerful permanent magnets made from a combination of neodymium, iron and boron (NdFeB), and commonly referred to as rare-earths magnets. These magnets are around eighteen times stronger than traditional Ferite Magnets.

    In order to provide superior mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, the Neodymium/Iron/Boron magnets are covered with a protective epoxy coating.

    TYP Magnet motors have PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) thermistors embedded in their windings which offer ful protection against overheating produced by phase loss, overload and under or overvoltage.
