How does the PWM Constant Voltage protection system work?
The PWM constant voltage system controls the wind turbine output to ensure it does not exceed 120% of the turbine's rated power. Under strong wind conditions or if the grid-tied inverter is disconnected, the controller maintains a constant voltage output to guarantee inverter safety.
How does the Three-phase Dump Load Brake system operate?
If the wind turbine exceeds the PWM capacity (indicating over-speed), the three-phase dump load system automatically and immediately brakes the wind turbine. The brake releases after 10 to 20 minutes, allowing the wind turbine to safely restart and generate power. It also automatically brakes if the grid is cut off, recovering once the grid is restored.
What are the functions of the Surge Protector and Emergency Stop Switch?
- Surge Protector: Limits transient over-voltage entering the wind turbine's power line or discharges powerful lightning current to the ground, protecting the equipment from lightning strikes.
- Emergency Stop Switch: In case of emergency, pressing the button on the front panel cuts off all power supply to the controller and immediately applies the three-phase dump load brake.
What is the purpose of the Manual Brake Switch?
Activating the Manual Brake switch keeps the wind turbine in a braked state continuously using the three-phase dump load system.
What optional communication and remote monitoring functions are available?
Optional functions include:
- Modbus Communication protocol for secondary development.
- RS485 interface to adjust technical specifications.
